The teenage wonder-kid, Haseeb Hameed recently made his debut in the test series being held between England and India. One of the youngest debutant of England, Haseeb is widely known as ‘Baby Boycott’ for his patient style of batting.
While the lot of us have already witnessed the 19-year-old’s magic on-field, here’s more on the lad. Haseeb Hameed was brought up in England since childhood and belongs to Muslim Gujarati emigrant parents.
Surprisingly, Haseeb isn’t the only Gujarati to play cricket for another country. Here’s a quick at the several other Gujarati born cricketers who were brought up abroad and thus represent their respective country in the field of cricket!
