A teacher in a school near Uttar Pradesh's Sonebhadra district allegedly forced girl students to take their skirts off and paraded them in the playground for more than two hours. The punishment meted out to the students was because they reportedly failed memorise Sanskrit lessons as their homework.
 
More sickening part of the report is that after stripping the senior high school girls the accused teacher took photographs of them on her mobile phone and threatened to make it public if they failed in their homework the next time, the report claimed.
 
The incident occurred on last Saturday but came to light on Tuesday when the punished girls apprised their parents about it.
 
Enraged by punishment, the parents of the girls protested outside the school and demanded that the accused teacher be sacked. After the parents gathered to vent their anger over the incident, the district magistrate suspended the school teacher.
 
One of the girls who was victim of the teacher's sick punishment told that they were struck by the teacher with a stick and on Saturday she forced them to take their clothes off and run around the playground for over two hours.
 
The victims added that the other students in the class were asked by the teacher to come out and clap at them as they were being punished.
