A strong vision and a deep desire to promote Brand “India” by fusing a wearable ensemble with Indian Inspiration is the USP. The inherent signature style in various collections by Rohit epitomize the Indian Royalty and Glamour, which is apt for evening and ceremonial wear. Jodhpuri collars, Traditional Hour Glass Cuts and flamboyant Jodhpur Breeches accentuate the formal look. Jeweled Buttons, Brooches, Belt Buckles made of precious stones like rubies, emeralds and semi precious stones exude Regalia’ in Menswear. In brief it is the designer’s signature style stirred well with Royal inspiration therein promoting the Rich Rajasthan culture.
Rohit & Abhishek’s vision is to highlight Jaipur on the International fashion map.
Label “Rohit and Abhishek” showcased their collection “Regalia of the Chivalric” at the Van Heusen Men’s Fashion week. Based out of Jaipur, Rohit Kamra creates a collection inspired by Indian Regalia, epitomizing the true characteristics of blue blood. The metro sexual image of a man evolves into a fresh inculcation of traditional values and virtues of chivalry, courage, honor and integrity.
In other words, a straightforward presentation of the designer’s signature style stirred well with aristocratic inspiration.
Rohit and Abhishek are a designer duo with thick rajput mustaches paired with leather boots…and did I say mustaches? As manly men they seem to be, they are not the cliche chauvinistic or egotistic sorts. They are infact quite polite and gentlemen like. Maybe that is what Rajputana is about. Maybe it has nothing to do with being a rajput.. wait, are they even Rajput? Well they wear the look well and they promote the look in their line as well. Awesome actor Irrfan Khan chose to walk for them. I liked some tailored pieces like the jodhpurs and jackets. However I thought some fabrics were a bit dated. But dont take my word for it cause I dont know what men want.
the film being played had a starring role by Irrfan Khan and a mahabharata style war and heroic men on horses with swords. |
