JEE Topper Gifted A Sleek BMW By Rajasthan Coaching Institute

Tanmay Shekhawat’s fortunes witnessed a complete as he secured the 11th position in the recently held IIT-Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced). He has been gifted a sleek BMW sedan by his coaching institute in Sikar, Rajasthan.

 

The institute’s director had announced that students securing a rank among top 20 candidates in the IIT JEE Advanced will be gifted his BMW. As the director kept his promise after Shekhawat’s astounding performance, experts have even hinted at a brilliant marketing ploy.

 

Sikar is situated at a distance of around 115 km from the capital Jaipur and aspires to replicate the success enjoyed by Kota. Kota is renowned as the country’s coaching capital and more than 1.5 lakh students prepare for IIT entrance examinations in its various coaching institutes. The coaching business in the city thus runs into crores.

Sikar, in contrast is renowned on account of its colourful havelis and traditional mansions. However, the past few years have witnessed the mushrooming of various coaching institutes in Sikar also as the lucrative business has caught the eye of local entrepreneurs
