Owaisi Sends Shock Waves Across Country, Offers Legal Aid To Hyderabad ISIS Suspects

The arrest of 11 suspects in Hyderabad by National Investigation Agency (NIA) on 29th June has taken political colour as Hyderabad MP and AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi openly came out in their support.

 

NIA suspected the youth of trying to spark communal riots and bomb blasts in public places in Hyderabad. As per the agency’s sleuths, the boys' phone calls were traced and beef, arms, ammunition and huge cash was gathered from them.

 

The youth, who belonged from well to do families were also suspected to be in touch with ISIS handlers from Syria. This had sent shockwaves all across the southern city of Hyderabad.

 

The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President however said that his party will provide them legal help. Denouncing the ISIS ideology as that of rapists and murders, he claimed that the family of the arrested men had met them and asked for support.

Regarding this, Owaisi has asked for the support of a senior Hyderabad advocate too.

Reiterating his stand that his party did not support terrorism of any sort and Muslims were ready to die for India at all costs, he asked the NIA to prove the charges.
