Life if full of uncertainty and it tests your patience at ever point. There are some who lose hope and surrender during the tough time while there are others who fight back and turn adversities in their favour.
One such person is Uravashi Yadav, a resident of sector 17, Gurugram. Till a few months ago, she had never imagined herself in such a situation but her life has been chaotic over the past couple of weeks.
Yadav is a graduate and work as a nursery teacher in Gurugram. Apart from being a teacher, she is a loving wife and a doting mother of two.
But things changed when her husband met with an accident earlier this year. Although, the injuries were not critical but doctors said that her husband will have to undergo a hip surgery.
Urvashi’s husband, who was working as a manager in a private company, lost his job because of the injuries.
Urvashi belongs to a well-to-do family and setting up a thela was neither a necessity nor a passion for her. But she decided to reduce the burden on her husband of being the primary breadwinner for the family.
Urvashi’s kids study in a prominent school and she was afraid that if she would wait for funds to run out, there might be a situation when she would have to change her kid’s school.
She tried to imagine the situation of her family without her husband’s income and the future looked grim. This is when she decided to use her cooking skills. Though she wanted to start a restaurant but she because of lack of funds, she started the thela.
Despite her in-laws and children being against the idea, Urvashi went ahead with the plan after discussing it with her husband.
