Sleeping Beauty: This girl died almost 100 years ago but still opens her eyes

Rosalia Lombardo was only two years old when she died from pneumonia almost 100 years ago. Her father was shocked by her death and approached Alfredo Salafia, a famous embalmer, to preserve her body.
 
The body of the Rosalia is so well-preserved that you might even think she's alive. So much so that people call her ‘Sleeping Beauty’.
 
In fact, MRIs taken just five years ago show that each of her organs are still intact, a sign that points all the way back to Egyptian methods of mummification.
 
But she is not getting popular because of only this reason. Recently, she was found to opening and closing her eyes.
 
Captured time-lapse photos appear to show her eyelids eerily opening and closing and various theories are doing the rounds on the internet. While some people believe that the little girl’s spirit still resides in her body, there are others, Italian researcher claim that it is due to an optical illusion produced by the light coming from the window nearby her chapel.
