It is also well known that successful people follow such superstitions more intensely. This holds true for cricketers too, in fact it is often said that cricket and superstition go hand in hand.

 

Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag after a while in his career superstitiously dropped numbers from the back of his jersey, though he was not the only one to do this in-line with superstition. There are many ace cricketers — currently playing or retired — who are no less superstitious.
