Shuttler PV Sindhu and wrestler Sakshi Malik, who won medals for India in the recently concluded Rio Olympics games, have been awarded prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award, the highest sporting honour of the country for their contribution in their respective fields.
 
Apart from Olympics medal winners, two other athletes were also chosen for the prestigious award.
 
Shuttler PV Sindhu, who created history by winning the silver medal at Rio Olympics, worked for years in order to achieve the feat. Not only her performance has improved but also her looks have changed over the years.
 
There are other sportswomen who have transformed in the past few years.
