Singer attempts suicide over online harassment

A folk singer from Haryana allegedly attempted suicide by consuming rat poison at her residence in southwest Delhi on Sunday . Her condition was critical till late evening. Police said, in July this year she was booked under the SCST Act for allegedly using derogatory language against a particular community in her songs in February .
