Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s biopic, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story has gripped the entire nation. Eagerly awaiting its release, its teaser trailer promises to be quite the untold story of the cricketing stars life journey.

 

While the film has been gathering immense attention, another unknown fact of the skippers’ life caught the spotlight. For those of you who’re unaware, Dhoni himself took up acting a few years back and was seen in a Bollywood film. That’s right!

 

The year 2010 witnessed Dhoni acting in the renowned director, David Dhawan’s film, Hook Ya Crook. The film had John Abraham as the lead, alongside Kay Kay Menon and Genelia D’Souza. The reason many are still unaware of it is cause the film never really got a chance to make an official release.

 

With Dhoni’s name till date reflecting on the films IMDb page, we realised Dhoni isn’t the only cricketer who has tried his hands in Bollywood. Over the years, several Indian cricketers took up roles in several of the leading films.

 

Be it the legend, Kapil Dev or the angry-young man, Harbhajan Singh, the number of cricketers who’ve taken up acting stints are numerous.
