With Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s biopic gearing up for its grand release this month, several players and fans have offered their immense support to the star. But amongst the many applauds he received over the months, it was Gautam Gambhir’s sly remark that gathered maximum attention.

 

"I don't believe in biopics on cricketers. I think those people who have contributed more to the country than the cricketers deserve a biopic. There are lots of people in the country who have done so many noble deeds for the nation. Therefore, biopics should be made on their lives," said Gambhir.

 

Considering that his selection was overlooked by the Indian selectors for the upcoming series against New Zealand, Gautam Gambhir’s reaction doesn’t seem to be out of place. But taking a dig against one of the best Captains team India has had so far failed to go down well with the masses.

 

Resulting in an outrage, twiteratis immediately slammed Gambhir for his statement. Since the duo has often had a frosty relationship over the years, Gambhir’s outburst prompted us to take a look at what the other cricketers think of Dhoni.
