In the world of Apple and Samsung smart phones, the legacy of Nokia phones continue as being one of the most indestructible phones to touch the face of earth. And the same was proven recently with Microsoft’s General Manager, Peter Skillman’s tweet. Well, here’s the full story…
Peter Skillman was in Afghanistan a few years back when the world was still filled with Nokia handsets. Handing over his device to one of the men, Peter returned home. Little did Peter know this very device would one day perform the duties of being a bullet-proof vest. Yes, you heard that right.
The Afghani man escaped a fatal bullet attack as his Nokia handset was more than happy to take the plunge. Although the phone is now well beyond repair, we’re sure the man can’t thank his stars enough.
Considering this isn’t the first time Nokia has achieved this feat (in 2014, a Nokia Lumia handset saved a Brazilian policeman from a bullet), the internet went bonkers in praise of the everlasting Nokia phones.
A look at the trolls that hit the internet…
