Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) has confirmed that Ruby Ria, the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB)’s Class XII (arts) topper of 2016, didn’t write her answer sheets herself.
 
According to the report, her papers were written by ‘experts’ and the numbers jotted down on her copy were tampered with many times.
 
Ruby Rai of Bishundeo Rai College in Hajipur had grabbed headlines after she pronounced political science as ‘prodigal science’ and said the subject deals with cooking during a TV interview.
 
Ruby, who had scored 444 out of 500 marks in the examination conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), was exposed by the media following which an embarrassed Bihar government was forced to order an investigation and special re-examination for 14 toppers.
 
While other students appeared in the re-test, Ruby skipped it sighting her poor health. But she appeared on for re-test on June 27 after which she was arrested.
 
She gave some shocking answers during the re-examination which left everyone wondering how she topped the examinations. The state government had then instituted an SIT headed by SSP Manu Maharaj to conduct a probe into the scam and answer sheets of some candidates, including Ruby’s copy, were sent for forensic examination.
