<li>The voice behind hits like ‘Teri Deewani’ and ‘Allah Ke Bande’, the biggest Sufi name in the musical world, Kailash Kher, is set to perform at Ramleela ground this January. The concert is organized by Maa Foundation, a non-profit organization that is working towards building orphanages for street children. Not just Bollywood, Kailash Kher has sung in 18 languages for Indian films. Soulful and soothing, Kailash’s unique singing style became an instant hit when he embarked on his career in 2001. Other hits include ‘Tu Jaane Na’, ‘Tauba Tauba’, ‘Mangal Mangal’ and many more.
<p>Music had always been an integral part of Kailash’s life. His father, who was a Hindu priest, used to perform traditional folk songs.</p>
<p>Kailash Kher’s band- Kailasa has been big hit with music lovers. The band’s released its first album in 2006 and went on to revive the Indian pop music market.</p>

<li>The 16th edition of the annual prestigious theatre festival of National School of Drama, Bharat Rang Mahotsav will commence this January 4, 2014 and will end on January 19, 2014. This year, the festival will witness 71 plays from different parts of the country and six plays from various participating countries, namely Japan, Sri Lanka, China, Israel, Poland and Germany.Plays will be staged at seven different venues at different timings which will allow theatre lovers to enjoy each play. Inauguration will be on January 4th at Kamani Auditorium and it will be followed by staging of “Chhaya Shakuntalam” a play by the well known Malayali theatre director K N Panikkar.

<p>The Times Of India celebrates 175 years of leading change with its Lakshminarayana Global Music Festival this January. This concert to be held at Sri Sathya Sai International Centre is a tribute to the legendary violinist V Lakshminarayana and will feature the most incredible artists.</p>
<p>Guests can look forward to some spectacular performances by artists like violin maestro, L Subramaniam, renowned Bollywood playback singer, Kavitha Krishnamurthy, along with their daughter Bindu and son Ambi. The concert will also play host to international artists including Hubert Laws, the American flutist and saxophonist, and Oystein Baadsvik, the Norwegian tuba soloist and chamber musician.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Catch the debut show of internationally popular animatedlive play ‘Dora’s Pirate Adventure’ in India, at Siri Fort Auditorium, this Friday. Come and watch Dora, the most loved Nicktoon, as she embarks on a live musical in the play. It is based on the adventure seriesthat follows Dora and her friends.</p>
<p>Joining the performance will be her best buddy Boots, the monkey; Diego; Benny the Bull; Isa the Iguana and Tico the Squirrel. The show will encourage little Nicksters to help Dora solve puzzles, overcome obstacles and have lots of fun.The visual theatrical extravaganza is produced by renowned artist Luke Gallagher.</p>

<p>&#8216;Aur Ek Sacch&#8217; is a Hindi play that shows how women are ensnared by rituals, superstitions, taboos and social mores and, as a result, are trapped by men who exploit their vulnerability and ignorance. The play is based on true incidents and shows two old and lonely women who have no family support. They remember their life, their men, lust and the pitfalls of a patriarchal society and also suggest how relationship between men and women can be improved.</p>
<p>The play touches serious and sensitive issues of child marriage, marital rape, manipulation through religion or societal norms and abandonment through divorce or bigamy, among others.</p>
