Uttar Pradesh: 150 Live Worms Removed From 22-Year-Old Woman’s Stomach In Four-Hour Operation

Doctors have removed 150 worms each measuring 10 inches from a woman's stomach after she was rushed to the hospital with extreme pain.
 
Neha Begum of Chandauli in Uttar Pradesh had to undergo a four-hour operation at KG Nanda Hospital as she had been vomiting continuously for weeks.
 
When doctors examined the 22-year-old woman they found an obstruction in her intentines and were shocked to find 150 live worms in her stomach, which they pulled out one-by-one during the surgery.
 
Doctor Anand Prakash Tiwari, a gynaecologist at the hospital, said that it was an extremely rare case as they "have come across cases with three or four worms but this is the first time we have come across such a huge number."
 
Neha had been suffering excruciating pain in her stomach for months and seen several doctors who weren't able to diagnose the problem until she underwent a surgery.
