DELHI TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) – Roughly 60 people became U.S. citizens at a Delhi Township School Friday, February 10.
The seventh grade students at St. Dominic School hosted a naturalization ceremony. Dozens of people from 35 countries took the oath Friday. While they represent several countries, five were from Germany and another five were from Bhutan.
While it may be said some Americans take their citizenship for granted, the newly minted citizens do not.
“I’m very, very happy. It’s my dream, you know, to be citizen. I love America, I love freedom. That’s my dream,” said one new citizen.
