Delhi will be getting India’s first dedicated Heliport
The Heliport is aimed at bringing the choppers within the reach of common man
Aviation secretary R N Choubey announced that the Rs 100-crore project will be inaugurated on February 28
The Heliport is owned by Pawan Hans Helicopters Ltd and would have an AC passenger terminal building
As well as car parking area for the flyers
Pawan Hans has decided to connect major destinations like Haridwar, Agra, Dehradun and industrial hubs from the heliport to promote regional air connectivity
