The persistent Shahjahan, in no mood to accept excuses for delays, sends the somnolent government’s construction department into tizzy. The engineers and overseers get down to business to fulfill the emperor’s wish, as if they really could. An outbreak of activities ensues but in typical sarkari manner. Tenders are issued. Contractors are hired. But, does the project see light of the day? Or, does the emperor, fast forwarded in the time, become a victim of the system himself?
