NEW DELHI: Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Friday presented the Delhi Education model at the Global Education conference in Moscow, in front of educationist from 40 countries. He said many of the participant countries appreciated the model. “After my presentation on Delhi’s schools in the Conference at Moscow, many countries have shown interest in exchange programs with Delhi,” Sisodia tweeted. Sisodia, who also holds the Education portfolio, discussed the condition of education in India and what kind of problems the country faces regarding education.

In his speech, he asserted that every educationist should understand what world class education is to work for the betterment of the students. “Every child deserves to get world class education and it is our responsibility to provide that,” he said. The minister also recalled that India is the country of great educationists like Mahatma Gandhi, Guru Nanak, Gautam Buddha and Aryabhatta.
