Happy Birthday Vijay Mallya: A sneak peek into his luxury car collection, private aircrafts

It is Kingfisher Airlines chairperson and managing director Vijay Mallya’s 59th birthday today. The businessman is known for his flamboyant lifestyle and myriad non-business interests as well. Earlier this month, the government annulled his re-appointment as the MD of stranded Kingfisher Airlines (KFA) and he also had to resign from the board of another group firm, MCFL.

 

“Liquor baron” Mallya is witnessing a trying situation. He reportedly appeared before a court in Bangalore in July for bail in three criminal cases filed by the income tax department (I-T).

 

The tag “King of Good Times” was punned extensively in headlines to highlight the troubled times of the stranded Kingfisher Airlines and Mallya.

 

However, Mallya’s flamboyant ways have not taken a hit; it has been months since Kingfisher Airlines’ licence was suspended.

 

Mallya is also known for his inclination for luxury toys, including yachts, cars and private aircraft.
