Bihar: Why this girl chose ‘jail premises’ to marry her ‘innocent’ lover will make you go WOW!

Jamui: Khushbu Sakal from Noakothi region in Jamui visited the jail to marry the boy of her dreams named Uttam Ravidas aka Ranjit who hails from Kakanchor village. Khushbu feared that after Ranjit would be freed from prison, his family or her own family will not agree to their wedding. So, she decided to arrange a ceremony in the jail premises only.

 

Her thought was reasonable because earlier on the marriage proposal, boy's father had asked for too much dowry for barring the wedding. On the other hand, when she ran away with Ranjit, her own parents had filed a case of her abduction against her lover after which he was arrested.

 

Thereafter, she decided to marry Ranjit in the police station in the presence of the jailer and other police officials. Uttam aka Ranjit put sindoor on her forehead and took 7 rounds around the holy fire of marriage. Both of them had met at a Dussehra fair in the region and it was love at first sight for them. They told their family about their relationship and said they wanted to marry each other.
