Have You Heard Arvind Kejriwal Singing? This Gig is Exclusively for the Punjab Voters.

As unique as his style of politics is his strategy to win the voters.  Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, recently sang a classic by legendary Kishore Kumar (obviously with lyrics changed to suit the purpose of the video) for the people in Punjab. The video comes close to heels to the Punjab elections.

The video was uploaded on the official Facebook page of Aam Aadmi Party with the title ‘Arvind Kejriwal Sings for Punjabis’. The AAP convener chose the late singer’s famous song Aa chal ke tujhe main le ke chaloon from the 1964 movie Door Gagan ki Chaon Mein to show his penchant for singing.

Recently, AAP member Kumar Vishwas released a video Ek Nasha: Nashe ke Khilaaf in which he sings about the prevailing drug menace in Punjab. Now this time it is the CM himself who has voiced his concern about rising corruption in the state with the help of a song.

The song that has been tweaked to become an anthem against corruption goes on as, ‘Jahan chor bhi na ho, jahan bhrasht bhi na ho, bas AAP ka raaj chale.’

The Aam Aadmi Party is contesting for the assembly elections in Punjab in 2017 and has chosen this unique way for campaigning.

Remember how the CM sang ‘Paigham’ a popular Hindi song after being sworn in as the Chief Minister in 2013. Well, this was not the only time that he expressed his love for singing- in 2015 he sang the same song after he sworn in as the CM for the second time.

Our Chief Minister has also shared the stage with singers several times in the past. Whether it was during the launch of New Delhi Municipal Council app when he shared the stage with former singer Babul Supriyo or with Kailash Kher in the 2015 trade fair, Kejriwal has never missed a chance to show his love for music.

Well, Mr Kejriwal, with the speed at which you keep bringing music to our ears, we are eagerly waiting for AAP to release an entire music album of its own.
