Meet 80-year-old Ernestine Shepherd, World’s Oldest Performing Female Body Builder, who can put bodybuilding competitors to shame.
 
Ernestine, who recently celebrated her 80th birthday, hit the gym at the age of 56 years and she is still so committed to her fitness that she wakes up at 3 am in the morning.
 
“I am 80 years young today and I thank God for bringing me this far. I'm still determined, I'm still dedicated and I'm still disciplined to be fit! I look forward to all that God has in store because I'm just getting started,” she posted on Facebook on her 80th birthday.

She was named the world’s oldest female bodybuilder by the Guinness Book of World Records in both 2010 and 2011.
 
Despite all the exercise, Ernestine says that she has no aches or pains whatsoever and has never been injured in the 17 years of her new improved life.
 
Ernestine, who is fitness trainer, model, competitive body builder, and an author, has shared some of her secret that allows her to defy “normal” aging on her website.
