Meet Living Hero of Kargil War Who Has Seen Pak’s Torture Through His Eyes

Every year 26 July is celebrated as "Kargil Vijay Diwas" to honour the sacrifice of Indian war heroes. On this day, the Indian army had won the long-fought battle with the Pakistani army and hoisted the tricolor on Tiger Hill.
 
Yogendra Singh Yadav survived 15 bullets while capturing Tiger Hill in the Kargil War and was awarded the Param Vir Chakra, India's highest award for gallantry.
 
Yadav was a member of the 'ghatak' (assault) commando platoon which captured three strategic bunkers on Tiger Hill overlooking the Drass-Kargil road on the night of July 3-4, 1999.
 
According to Yadav, he saw from his own eyes the way Pakistan army treats Indian jawans.
