Photos of This Indian Woman Went Viral in Pakistan, Read to Know the Reason Behind It

For the past few days, photos of this Indian woman are being widely shared on Pakistan social media with claims that she is the next chief ministerial candidate of the Rajasthan state in India.
 
Let us tell you that although the woman is from Rajasthan and is associated with Congress Party, but she is not the chief ministerial candidate.
 
The name of this woman is Shama Bano and she is a politician from Barmer district of Rajasthan. She belongs to the family of Muslim leader Abdul Hadi.
 
Shama’s husband Gafur Ahmed worked as a state minister in Rajasthan and she herself was the chief of a panchayat committee.
 
She joined politics as a member of Chohtan Panchayat Samiti in 2005 after completing her LLB. Chohtan was declared the best panchayat samiti in India under Panchayat Empowerment and Accountability Incentive Scheme and rewarded Rs 15 lakh by the Central Government.
 
In 2010, she was elected Pradhan. During her tenure, she worked for the betterment of the education system in her area. Shama is now working as state congress secretary.
 
However, Shama has clarified that she has nothing to do with the post which are going viral in Pakistan and she is not the chief ministerial candidate of the party.
 
"I have no such plans yet. And I do not agree with Pakistan's interference in Indian politics. I have already complaint to the city SP regarding the circulation of these photographs," Shama was quoted as saying by a news portal.
 
However, she added that she will gladly take up whatever responsibility the party decides for her.
