Maria Sharapova Set to Return to Tennis in 2017, but This Is What She Is Upto These Days

Tennis sensation Maria Sharapova can return to Tennis in 2017 as the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has reduced her two-year suspension over doping to 15 months.

"Tennis is my passion and I have missed it. I am counting the days until I can return to the court," the 29-year-old wrote on her Facebook after the verdict.

The decision came after she filed an appeal with the CAS on June 9 against the two-year suspension, which was imposed by the International Tennis Federation's (ITF) following a positive test for the drug meldonium.

Due to the imposed ban, the five-time grand slam champion had to miss the 2016 Rio Olympics.

The life of the 29-year-old Russian star had drastically changed after the ban. From being part of the charity show to attending music concerts, she had been trying everything to keep herself busy.
