Bengaluru Woman Hangs Herself After Husband And Father-In-Law Shoot Dead Boyfriend

A married Bengaluru woman committed suicide just few hours after her lawyer-boyfriend was shot dead by allegedly by her husband and father-in-law. The father-son duo have been detained by the police in connection with the murder.
 
Shruthi Gowda, a 32-year-old mother of two, in the afternoon had met Amith Keshavamurthy, the father of a three-year-old son, and both drove in her white Maruti Suzuki Swift to the Acharya Group of Institutions where they parked the car on the roadside.
 
That's when her husband Rajesh, 33, and father-in-law Gopalkrishna, 78, accostem them after reporedly following the duo in another vehicle.
 
Amith was then shot with the licenced revolver of Gopalkrishna but the police sources say that the it is not yet clear who pulled the trigger.
 
Two shot were fired and Amith was hit on the side of the chest and on the shoulder. After the shooting, Shruthi sped away with a profusely bleeding Amith srtaight to Sapthagiri Hospital.
 
Doctors attended Amith but told Shruthi that he was brought in dead, when the hospital authorities alerted the police about the case, Shruthi reportedly vanished.
