Inventors Who Tragically Died Of Their Own Inventions

Have you ever heard of people dying due to their own creations? Although some inventors enjoy fame and fortune as a result of their inventions, there are others whose creations turned out to be their greatest enemies.

 

Human ambitions have at times been the bane of creators themselves. The article focuses on some people whose tragic deaths were accounted by things they had invented while saluting their sacrifices in the greater interest of humanity.

 

Who hasn’t heard about the legendary Marie Curie? The Polish origin French Physicist and chemist is renowned for her pioneering research on radioactivity. The maverick lady was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and the only woman to win it twice. She developed the theory of radioactivity and played a grand role in the discovery of polonium and radium. However, prolonged exposure to ionizing radiation led to her becoming a patient of aplastic anaemia and ultimately took her life.
